Prokofiev, , Peter and the Wolf, symphonic fairy tale, op. 67 (approx. 25 min.)
Simon Leclerc, Concerto Grosso for Four Bassoons, Contrabassoon, String Orchestra and Timpani (commission of the OSM) – world premiere
(approx. 11 min.)

Discover the orchestra with Prokofiev’s symphonic fairy tale Peter and the Wolf and follow the adventures of its different characters, each of which is associated with an instrument, for instance, the strings (Peter), the French horn (the Wolf), or the bassoon (the Grandfather). The concert also showcases the bassoon, with the world premiere of a work specially written by Simon Leclerc for this event. A great way for families to share their love of music.

The OSM wishes to thank the Institut italien de culture for its collaboration and support.
